End-Of-Tenancy & House Sale Cleans
ABOUT US

I established my company after I decided to leave my tech job in London to work locally, so that my partner James and I could get a dog.
We realised our dream in 2021 when we brought our gorgeous hound Louis home, and it was he who inspired the name Helpful-Hounds.
With four mouths to feed now (including Charlie Brown the starving stray kitten I rescued from Cyprus) I turned to my bizarre love of housework and Helpful-Hounds was born.
Since leaving The City I have worked as a self-employed housekeeper at some of the most prestigious estates in the Cotswolds, including Little Tew Estate, Daylesford, Cornbury Park Estate, Blenheim Palace Estate, Adlestrop House, and other such homes of distinction.
In January 2024 I decided that I wanted to expand my reach, from working solely in large private estates, to doing one-off cleans, where I can make a real difference. So... I created this website, took a deep breath and here I am... ready to meet my new clients!
I am very fortunate to be recommended by one of Chipping Norton's main estate agents, carrying out their end-of-tenancy and house sale cleans for the past two years. I cannot thank the amazing team at Maxwell Douglas Estate Agents enough for making me their 'go-to' for all such cleans.
During 2025 I have also carried out cleans for Chancellor's Estate Agents, Taylor Fletcher and Geoff Saul Solicitors where I take care of their probate cleans prior to the house going on the market to settle the deceased estate.
James and I offer a one-stop solution for anyone wishing to have their home cleared and cleaned in preparation for the new owners, or tenants, to move into. Or on behalf of the estate agents photographers to take photos for sales brochures and website listings.
James and I work independently of each other, so if you simply want a one-off clean I can do that. If you only want a house clearance or to sell some or all of your contents, then James is your man.
You will be pleased to know that Louis the Hound will not be turning up, as he is actually not all that helpful!
